Cochran Brothers delivers fresh baked products from over 35 bakeries in the SE Michigan area. All of the products are manufactured in local bakeries producing sustainable products for your client/patient. One bakery is in Ohio, less than 250 miles away, also considered sustainable. All products are made-to-order and delivered that evening/early morning.
Our gluten free products are manufactured in Colorado (Udi’s) and shipped nationwide. We have decided to use this brand because of its popularity by Celiac patients… tastes great too! You no longer have to order cases at a time… only order what you need by piece.

All of the current bakeries (over 30 and growing) are based in SE Michigan with one in Ohio. Staying local is crucial in sustaining the integrity of baked goods as well as stimulating economic growth for Michigan. All of the products arrive at each location in one truck, each morning, 6 days per week when required. Each order is on one invoice with convenient billing.

The list of ethnic products is constantly growing. Currently, Cochran Brothers has long standing relationships with bakeries that are owned and operated by people of the very ethnicity they specialize in.
Udi's uses a proprietary gluten-free baking base. They blend rice, potato starch, and tapioca starch along with ingredients to improve texture and flavor. They also developed their own special baking techniques to handle the gluten-free mixtures which behave very differently from wheat flour dough’s and batters.
